AI has plenty to say. Let’s give it something to do.
We connect models, sensors, software, and machines—building the bridge between an intelligent idea and a useful, working system.
A model needs context. A sensor needs software. A machine needs a useful way to respond. Ligandus brings those pieces into the same conversation.
Bring vision, distance, sound, and motion into a shared picture of what’s happening around a device.
Give local and frontier AI models tools and context through application software and visual orchestration.
Translate that connection into device interactions, endpoint reflexes, robotic movement, and automation workflows.
Hardware that senses. Software that connects.
Tools that help you put it all to work.
01 / HELM FAMILY
Helm brings the Ligandus sensor board into individual applications. Helm Scout takes that connection on the move, for robot and drone control.
Connect sensor inputs and device outputs to local or cloud AI through a dedicated application.
INDIVIDUAL ENDPOINT APPLICATIONSRGB camera imagery gives the model visual context.
02 / CORE
Build AI workflows with visual program cards. Add, remove, and connect reflexes, agents, and mixture-of-experts task deployments.
03 / WORKBENCH
A workspace for robotics behavior, simulation, and diagnostics. Bring the development workflow together so you can focus on what the machine should do.
Helm Touch for iPad and Helm Scout Touch are planned. Helm Touch currently targets Android tablets.
The sensor board started with a practical challenge: give an Elegoo robot an AI-connected upgrade. That working idea opens the door to more devices, more applications, and more experiments.
Custom PCB design. Manufactured boards.
Software built to bring it together.
RGB camera imagery and two ToF sensors: an 8×8 grid and a longer-range 2×2 grid.
Dual microphones for software speech recognition. An onboard speaker for speech, alerts, and the occasional racecar engine.
A six-axis IMU provides acceleration and rotation measurements for motion and orientation estimation.
Three front RGBW LEDs bring programmable colors and patterns to signaling and expression.
BEYOND THE ROBOT
The same connection between sensing, software, and action extends into industrial automation. Ligandus is developing ways to bring AI orchestration and endpoint reflexes into equipment and operational workflows.
Explore the connections ↗Ligandus grows from a simple habit: seeing how things could work together, then building the connection.
Our founder’s background spans senior networking and cybersecurity roles, followed by focused study and practical development in electronics, microcontrollers, RP2350B design, and KiCad.
Today, that experience takes shape in custom software, manufactured circuit boards, AI-connected robotics, and visual orchestration tools. The common thread is making the pieces work together.
A little chemistry. A lot of connecting things. ↗FIND YOUR STARTING POINT
